Scope of Work

In the United States, 55% of counties have no psychiatrist, psychologist or social worker, and 70% don’t have a single child psychiatrist. Charlie Health was founded to offer a high-acuity mental health program for teens who need it most. Virtually-centered, they are available and accessible for those many teen and young adults who do not have help within driving distance to their homes. We carefully crafted the brand to express the science-focused, high-quality care, as well as the optimistic spirit of a company that provides hope in a time where there's a prevailing sense of hopelessness. A collaborative and comprehensive task, we built a new design system for Charlie that will allow them to grow for years to come.

Geode Health, a small start-up of brick and mortar + virtual company offering mental healthcare, sought to revamp their brand and digital presence to reflect their ambition and modern approach. "Get effective mental health support quickly, in person or virtually, with providers that utilize the latest in evidence based care." We created a thoroughly modern and streamlined visual system including logo, symbol, product design, signage, and more. 


For every facet of care

Keeps has been a powerhouse in the hairloss space, competing against legacy brands and fellow startups alike. Amid their success, they were looking to expand and enhance their product line to target new customers. Keeps sought to create a new look and feel for a line of high-quality haircare products, starting with a Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner. In this process, we explored freely various design ideas and branding elements that could be added to fill out the minimal brand, giving the packaging a feeling of freshness and spark. 

The initial brand focused more on the casual heartburn sufferer, or someone with occasional indigestion; after realizing there was a huge swath of people who wanted a more medically robust offering, we created a design system that felt (still) cheerful but also established and trusted. Shelving some of the more playful elements, we used geometric shapes and illustration, bold color, and elegant typography to refresh the look and feel of the brand system and packaging, ushering them into a new era.
